fyeahnerdylolitas: crazyquasar: Decided to go with a Loki themed outfit for the Avengers premiere. I’ll make the underskirt in black. I tried coming up with ideas for Hawkeye but they were more complicated than this one and I don’t have the time to draft patterns. This is also much more versatile - I’ll make the skirt, shirt, and vest separate. And when the inevitable Group Drama occurs and my friends start bickering about their costumes, I can sit back, eat popcorn, watch the fireworks, and be completely in character doing so. :D I’ve got a lot of Joann coupons burning a hole in my pocket, plus prom season = a wide variety of gold fabric of different intensities on sale, so hopefully this outfit will wind up ridiculously cheap. I’ll make it up to Hawkeye somehow, though. I still love him. I got the croquis from here if anyone is interested. I love the feather x facinator idea! So clever.
